Israel on Campus Coalition, an organization dedicated to weaving and catalyzing the campus Israel network to create a positive climate regarding Israel on campus, will soon launch Ask Herzl, a new project that enables students and professionals to collaborate on Israel-related programming. Read on to learn more about Ask Herzl.

The prophet Isaiah had a vision for the in-gathering of the people of Israel from the four corners of the earth. Theodore Herzl, this project’s namesake and the father of modern Zionism, helped make that dream a reality. Ask Herzl will hasten the collection of quality Israel programming and resources from exile to dusty filing cabinets, desktop computers, CDs and even the occasional floppy disk. If you’d like to return resources from exile yourself, you can submit programs to Ask Herzl, and be eligible for great awards and prizes. You can do so by clicking here.

We at the Israel on Campus Coalition have been able to see, from “1,000 feet,” that there are hundreds of campuses with thousands of student leaders, many of whom that are facing similar challenges and developing similar solutions. From this perspective, we believe that, along with our partners, we  can work to connect Israel advocates to share their experiences of what has worked, what didn’t and what can be done to keep making positive change for Israel.

If anything can be said of the Facebook generation, it is that they’ve taught the world that a choice few don’t necessarily have all the answers; but a community of individuals can use their ingenuity and diversity to provide solutions to the most complicated problems, as long as they have the proper venue. Ask Herzl unleashes the collective knowledge and power of the entire pro-Israel community to ensure that sound solutions and creative ideas aren’t contained in a vacuum. With Ask Herzl, creativity and strategy can go viral, and perhaps most important of all, no voice for Israel needs to feel like they are alone.

Learn more about Ask Herzl, including how to submit resources today, grants and awards available for exemplary submissions, or register to get a sneak peek at AskHerzl.com before launch.
