The Kivun Intensive Reunion

The Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation is pleased to invite you to apply for The Kivun Intensive Reunion—a unique opportunity for emerging thought leaders to discuss the future of the Jewish sector, network with fellow Kivun alumni and share in honest and close-up dialogue with Lynn Schusterman and other leadership from the Schusterman Family Foundation, along with established thought leaders in the Jewish community:

  • Sandy Cardin, President of the Schusterman Family Foundation
  • Dr. David Ellenson, President of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR)
  • Felicia Herman, Executive Director of The Natan Fund
  • Nancy Kaufman, Chief Executive Officer of the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW)

Led by Center for Leadership Initiatives facilitators, Yoni Gordis and Beth Glick, the two-day retreat will explore our intentions and directions as individuals, as members of this vibrant network of young professionals and as change agents in the Jewish community.

The reunion will take place December 6-7, 2011 (beginning with dinner on the 6th and ending at approximately 5:00 pm on the 7th) in New York City. The Schusterman Family Foundation will cover all travel, food and lodging expenses for the gathering.

Please know that all Kivun Intensive alumni from the 2009, 2010 and 2011 cohorts are eligible to apply for the limited number of available spots. Those who are not currently working professionally in the Jewish community but are still thinking about and/or volunteering in the Jewish community are encouraged to apply.

Applications are due October 7, 2011. If you have any questions, please be in touch with Abby Strunk Saloma at asaloma@schusterman.org.
