Adam is the Associate National Director for the Foundation’s DC office, addressing critical issues of Jewish identity development in North America. His focus includes increasing the breadth and depth of identity development among Jews in their teens through their 30s, facilitating the transformation of service to be a normative tenet of Jewish practice, and building diverse and inclusive Jewish communities.
Professionally Adam has focused on the intersection between the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, integrating the lessons and strategies of each to the betterment of the other. Prior to joining CLSFF in 2008, Adam was the Executive Director of Fiedler Hillel at Northwestern University. He also spent several years working in the private sector in an internal management training program for an industrial supply company.
Adam is a recognized leader and presenter within the field of Jewish philanthropy. In 2010, he received the J.J. Greenberg Memorial Award, and he is frequently asked to give presentations on an array of topics, including trends in young adult Jewish engagement, Jewish service-learning, social networking, technology, time management and more.
Adam earned an MBA and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Lighting Design from Washington University in St. Louis. He and his wife, Lori, are the parents of two kids who happily request gluten-free birthday cakes so dad can enjoy them too.
