Community Service Israel Inclusivity

At CLSFF, we believe active Jewish lives are born of inspiration, not obligation. So how do we inspire? By supporting national and international initiatives that empower young Jews to embrace the joy of Judaism, build inclusive Jewish communities, support the State of Israel and repair the world.

Through our grantmaking, we fund programs and organizations that we believe have the collective potential to inspire every young Jew to shape Jewish life on her own terms and in his own image. We are invested in four primary areas where we believe we can make a significant impact on the Jewish landscape.

Grantmaking

Grantmaking is our primary vehicle for achieving our mission. While we recognize the importance of local programs, we devote our resources toward building large-scale movements that will engage as many teens, college students and young adults as possible in meaningful, lasting participation in Jewish life.

Due to the increasingly strategic and focused nature of our grantmaking, we are not currently accepting unsolicited requests or proposals for funding. We work continuously to identify potential grant applicants through due diligence procedures and will request proposals from a limited number of organizations that fall within our current priority areas.
