Community Service Council
In 2018, the Community Service Council (CSC) celebrates their 77th year of research, planning and action around improving the lives of Oklahomans. Throughout this time, they have brought people together to research, plan, coordinate action and assess progress to address many of Oklahoma’s most critical health, social, education and economic challenges, and advance effective community-based solutions. Their focus is on prevention – implementing strategies that invest in individuals and families across the lifespan to better care for themselves, their families and community. They do this across 30 initiatives that span six core investment areas: Data and Information, Education, Health & Mental Health, Housing & Homelessness, Incarceration Reduction and Veterans.
Today, with more than 100 employees working to ignite opportunities and eliminate disparities across Oklahoma, the Community Service Council remains a trusted planning organization for identifying community challenges, researching and pursuing new initiatives and marshaling resources toward solutions, all while serving the community.
