Founded in 1998, Foundation for Jewish Camp is a catalyst for change throughout the field of Jewish Camp, training and inspiring camp leaders, expanding access to Jewish summers and increasing demand. Foundation for Jewish Camp enhances the Jewish impact of camp and develops programs to strengthen camps across the spectrum in North America. FJC's One Happy Camper program has enabled tens of thousands of young people to experience Jewish summers. Foundation for Jewish Camp elevates the field of Jewish camp on the cultural and philanthropic agenda. The Foundation for Jewish Camp works with approximately 300 day and overnight camps, serving more than 200,000 youth, teens and college-aged counselors across North America. Jewish camps in the FJC network span the spectrum of Jewish affiliation and identity.
