IGY: Israel Gay Youth
The Israeli LGBTQ+ Youth organization was established in 2002, and since then has become the largest LGBTQ+ organization in Israel. The organization works for social change toward a more equal and tolerant society and works directly with and for LGBTQ+ youth (13-23) in the stages of formulating their sexual and/or gender identity through regular weekly social-educational activities. The organization has about 320 volunteers and currently more than 4,000 participants in its ongoing activities. IGY has set for itself the goal to be active everywhere where there are LGBTQ+ youth - that is to say, in all of Israeli society.
