The Interim Workflow Manager for the Film Department is a maternity leave replacement for approximately four months beginning mid-June. It is a full-time position based in Israel and reports to the COO and works closely with the CEO.

Who We Are: Jerusalem U is a non-profit organization founded in 2007 to strengthen the connection of young Jews to Israel and the Jewish people, to prepare them for life as a Jew on college campus and beyond. Our vision it to impact hundreds of thousands of young Jews reaching them frequently with meaningful Jewish and Israel video content.

Our feature films and short films have engaged millions of viewers across the globe, distributed on digital platforms such as Netflix and YouTube, as well as through screenings in film festivals, communities and college campuses across North America.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and track workflow to ensure projects meet deadlines and employees have a suitable workload
  • Make sure the production runs on time and manage all schedules
  • Track invoices and payment of vendors in coordination with Finance Dept.
  • Schedule shoots and negotiate hire of crews, equipment and locations
  • Manage CEO’s content review process and feedback to team members
  • Manage and track production budgets in conjunction with production manager
  • Disseminate information to senior management, department head and staff as necessary to ensure strong communication and knowledge of our production schedule

Who You Are:

  • Talented project manager with 3 years experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and experience that would approximate the level of professionalism
  • Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in fast-paced, creative, demanding environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, fluency in English
  • Excited to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Willingness to do what it takes to get the job done including working off-hours or overtime
  • Legally able to work in Israel
  • Knowledge of Google Office Suite

Extra Credit:

  • Knowledge of film production
  • Basic fluency in Hebrew
