  • Public education and thought-leadership events – Creating a more Asia-informed and Asia-engaged Israeli public through events that explore the future of Israel-Asia relations, key trends, developments and challenges in Asia, and how we can work together to co-innovate solutions.
Job description:
 
  • Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with organizations, companies, government ministries, embassies and foundations to grow the Israel-Asia Center and its programs.
  • Direct the content and implementation of the Israel-Asia Center's programs in Israel and Asia.

  • Develop the strategy, direction, content, strategic partnerships, funding and sponsorship opportunities for new and existing programs within the organization.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic contacts and relationships for the Israel-Asia Center with other organizations, companies, government ministries, embassies and foundations.
  • Develop and implement new programs that will generate additional revenue streams for the organization.
  • Identify and help to raise funds from foundations, government entities and corporate sponsors
  • Initiate and manage events programming and oversee program managers.
  • Conduct Israel-Asia briefings for key stakeholders, and present at Israel-Asia Center events.
  • Conduct the evaluation and continued impact of programs.
  • Together with Israel-Asia Center staff, provide professional development and leadership coaching to Israel-Asia Leaders Fellowship and other leadership programs regarding a range of industry-specific contacts networks, projects, and advice on Israeli business culture. 
  • Together with Israel-Asia center staff and volunteers, assess candidate applications for Israel-Asia Center programs. 
  • Play a key role in growing and developing the Israel-Asia Center advisory council.
  • Write op-eds and issue comments to media on Israel-Asia relations.
  • Undertake some management and administrative tasks. 
Job requirements:
 
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • Fluent Hebrew (spoken and written).
  • Proven experience securing strategic partnerships across the foundation, business, non-profit and government sectors.
  • Ability to secure corporate sponsorship and other revenue sources, as well as develop revenue-generating programs.
  • Effective networker and connector, able to identify, develop and manage new and existing strategic contacts.
  • Savvy communicator, with outstanding presentation skills.
  • Experience delivering effective presentations and pitches to people and partners at different levels.
  • Creative thinker and problem-solver with excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Proven experience strategizing and implementing impactful events and programs.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Experience managing and motivating teams.
  • Driven, goal-oriented, attention to detail, and good at multi-tasking in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Broad international experience and experience handling often complex cross-cultural situations.
  • Passion / interest in Asian current affairs.
  • Past experience working with Asia a plus.
