SCRIBE: AN EVENING OF PARCHMENT, QUILLS AND INK

Join CW Pencil Enterprise and Tech Tribe as we explore the ancient scribal arts with a classically trained scribe. Rabbi Mendel Altein, a second generation scribe trained in the ancient practice of STA"M, will share and sample how vellum parchment, ink and quills are used today in the creation of Jewish ritual objects.

We'll learn how parchment, ink and quills are handmade and used today, while enjoying champagne and small plates.
