Adam is ROI Community’s Program Manager, working closely with his colleagues, ROI community members and organizational partners to bring changemakers together and produce ROI’s annual flagship Summit and special events.
Originally from Burlington, Vermont, and having moved up and down the Eastern seaboard of the United States as a child, Adam made Aliyah in 2008 following his graduation from the State University of New York at New Paltz with a degree in International Relations and Jewish Studies. He subsequently enlisted in the IDF, serving in the Foreign Relations Division as a non-commissioned Liaison Officer to the UN peacekeeping and observer missions in the Golan Heights, where he continues to serve actively in the reserves. Since 2010, Adam has worked extensively in Israel to strengthen the connection between Israel and Diaspora communities in a number of programming positions at Masa Israel Journey, the Jewish Agency for Israel and the World Zionist Organization. He even found time for a short, two-year stint in Israel’s hi-tech startup scene, which helped hone his skills for working dynamically and grow his passion for innovation.
Adam is a Heseg Foundation fellow and holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Tel Aviv University. He is also a founding member of the Lone Soldier Center in Memory of Michael Levin. In his free time, Adam can be found traveling and camping around Israel and the globe, looking for the best local grub and showing off Israel’s beauty to visitors.
