Adam Taylor
Adam grew up in New Jersey, much influenced by his Jewish, British, and Cuban roots. He studied human and organizational development and economics at Vanderbilt University, where he was awarded the full-tuition Chancellor’s Scholarship in recognition of his commitment to diversity and leadership. While on campus, Adam was vice president of programming for Hillel and partnered with Be’chol Lashon to organize cultural exchange trips to Jewish communities in Latin America. In 2016, he was awarded the Birthright Israel Excel Fellowship, through which he strengthened his understanding of the Israeli innovation ecosystem while working at EY in Tel Aviv. After graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Vanderbilt University in 2018, Adam earned a Fulbright Scholarship, which led him to Mexico City. There, he developed a passion for youth empowerment and education through his work at the United Nations Youth Association of Mexico. Seeking hands-on experience in this realm, Adam then volunteered for the Jewish Agency for Israel’s Project TEN, supporting informal education initiatives and delivering pedagogical strategy seminars in a rural community in Oaxaca, Mexico. These experiences inspired Adam to take on the role of Skills to Succeed Internship Program Lead at Accenture, a global professional services firm. In this position, he is working to advance career prospects for underserved college students through professional development workshops, mentorship opportunities, and on-the-job training. He looks forward to further exploring the intersection of Jewish values, international exchange, and youth empowerment as he seeks to drive impact through private sector corporate social responsibility initiatives.
