Víctor Sorenssen lives and has grown up in Barcelona, the city he is in love with. From a young age he participated as a volunteer in the community framework, and after a year in Israel, he worked as director of education for the Jewish ATID Community. He has worked as an interim at the Institute of European Studies of the University of Barcelona, when he was studying Political Science. Then he began studying Semitic Philology at the University of Barcelona and working as director of the CIB (Comunidad Israelita de Barcelona). In 2010 he founded with a group of friends from the Jewish community of Barcelona, the Mozaika Cultural Platform, where he is the current President. This Platform began as a magazine of Jewish thought and gradually grew, until it became a Jewish Cultural Center (Casa Adret), where all kinds of projects related to Jewish history and culture (Sefer Barcelona- Jewish Book Festival ), research or activism (Salam Shalom Barcelona) are developed. Victor currently works as director of the AEPJ (The European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage), where among others, he coordinates the projects of the European Route of Jewish Heritage of the Council of Europe and the European Days of Jewish Culture .
