Aliza Goodman

Director of Professional Develolment, The iCenter
Aliza’s commitment to Israel and the Jewish community was originally formed in childhood during annual family trips to Israel from her home in Toronto, Canada. Since then, Aliza has shared her passion by trying to help others find connections to Israel and the Jewish community. Aliza served as Communications Director for Genesis and BIMA at Brandeis University and started at the iCenter in this role. Over the past five years with the iCenter, Aliza has grown the organization’s professional development portfolio, created and directed a year-long internship program for high school teens returning from summer trips to Israel, and currently works on a number of projects including Taglit Fellows, a new initiative training American Taglit-Birthright Israel madrichim. Aliza holds an M.B.A. in social policy and management and an M.A. in Jewish professional leadership from Brandeis University, as well as a B.A. in psychology from the University of Western Ontario.
