Andrea Ausztrics is from Budapest, Hungary, and has lived most of her life there although although she loves to travel a lot and has worked abroad. She is pursuing a doctorate that focuses on the history of modern Jewish museums. Andrea is also a freelance video artist and producer. Her daily job involves media-related work such as brand marketing, social media, commercials, short films, documentaries, music videos, web design and all kinds of variations on these themes. Andrea studied aesthetics and cultural anthropology and last year completed a Ph.D. in social history. She is part of a variety of Jewish initiatives across the globe, including ROI Community, the Muslim Jewish Conference, Marom Budapest, Dor Hadas, European Masorti Movement, Moishe House and, most recently, the MiNYanim Group, on which she made a documentary.
