Andrew was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and now lives in San Francisco with his wife Jennifer (ROI 2012). Andrew is a serial healthcare entrepreneur and operator, currently serving as Director of Product at eHealth Insurance Services (EHTH). Previously, he lead platform and healthcare product at Jawbone, which he joined in 2013 through the acquisition of Massive Health, where he served as Chief Strategy Officer. While at Jawbone, he served as a company spokesperson, participated in fundraising pitches, worked with existing investors on strategic business development relationships, and had a FDA-regulated medical product in his portfolio. He has both industry and academic experience in behavior change interventions, with a long-term focus on using design and technology to help people live better. Andrew studied health policy and healthcare systems at the University of Pennsylvania and focused on healthcare and entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School. He has advised the Oliver Wyman Health Innovation Center and the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) Health and Fitness Technology Board as well as a life sciences entrepreneurship course at UCSF. He is on the executive committees for the Penn Alumni Board of Overseers and the Penn Fund, and is an active volunteer with San Francisco’s Contemporary Jewish Museum.
