Anna Litovskaya

English Instructor, The Hebrew University

Anna Litovskaya graduated from the Linguistic University in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia in 2009 and completed a one-year program at Paideia - The European Institution for Jewish Studies in Sweden, Stockholm in 2010.

Since 2005 Anna has been involved in different Jewish activities in Russia, Israel, Ukraine, Poland and the USA both as a participant and as a madricha.  Among them Szarvas Summer Camp, BCI Summer Camp, Project Incubator and Paradigm Programs at Paideia, Limmud FSU, Alternative Break with Hillel, Jewish youth summer camps, leadership trainings and more. Beyond this, Anna has taken part in a number of Jewish and non-Jewish volunteer projects.

Anna spent 7 years in Ukraine where she developed and implemented the Shituf Peula volunteer project throughout 2010-2013 together with fellow ROIers Olga Savchuk and Oksana Mantuzova. She worked as a languages teacher for a private school and as a website editor at the Beis Shtern Shulman synagogue. She also ran English Speaking Club sessions and classes on Jewish texts and history for future madrichim at Beit Graham Jewish Community Centre.

In summer 2017 Anna moved to Israel and now she is a private tutor advocating individual approach and use of multimedia in the modern classroom. In her free time, Anna enjoys traveling and dancing.
