Sefaria is a non-profit organization dedicated to building the future of Jewish learning in an open and participatory way. We are assembling a living library of Jewish texts and their interconnections, in Hebrew and in translation. With these digital texts, we can create new, interactive interfaces for Web, tablet, and mobile, allowing more people to engage with the textual treasures of our tradition.
Prior to joining Sefaria, Annie Lumerman founded Generate Change upon moving to the Bay Area to provide cost-effective branding, programming, and fundraising solutions to nonprofits. Having benefited from years of mentoring and peer-coaching herself, Annie is passionate about coaching nonprofit executives and professionals to stay focused, think beyond the job description and innovate. Generate Change helps nonprofits expand their reach and deliver fresh, forward-thinking services.
In Washington, DC, after a short stint at a consulting firm, she spent two years working in the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's fundraising department. In her next role at Sixth & I, Annie served as the Director of Jewish Programming.
Annie enjoys exploring California, dabbling in art, and spending time with her husband, dog and new baby!
