Arek was born in Warsaw and graduated from the Polish National Film School in Łódź. As co-founder of an artist and cultural animators collective he was active in initiating events and exhibitions and artistic actions especially in the context of social interactivity. Since 2011, Arek has been Creative Director of Audiovisual Content of the core exhibition of the Museum Polin in Warsaw. The museum’s main focus is on educational programs and it received some 500,000 visitors in its opening year. Arek was responsible for the entire multimedia production of the core exhibition space. The impact of the materials of the exhibition's narrative resonates with visitors from around the world as well as those from Poland. As a multimedia and video specialist he is involved in creating the moving image and interactive applications narration to serve educational purposes and community needs. In his work he explores Jewish history in context, using contemporary narrative and innovative technology.
