Ayal Kantz
Ayal Kantz (he/him) is the Executive Director of the municipality of Kfar-Qasem; a city with 25,000 residents located at the center of Israel with almost exclusively Arab population. Kfar-Qasem is undergoing major developments and is known as one of the most promising Arab cities in Israel. Ayal leads the management of the municipality with a major focus on the city's planning, infrastructure and economic development as well as the municipality's organizational strategy. Prior to his current role, Ayal acted as the ED of Injaz, an NGO established to progress professional Arab local governance. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and Jewish Philosophy and an M.A. in Political Science. Ayal lives in the communal village 'Moledet', is married to Chen and father to Yahel, Ofer and Geffen and their dog Shoshy. Ayal loves mountain cycling, camping and pretty much everything that has to do with the outdoors.
