Ayla Schlosser
Ayla is the Portfolio Growth Specialist at the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, where she provides strategic and operational support to social entrepreneurs to help them scale. Most recently, Ayla was the Co-founder and CEO of Resonate, an organization that provides leadership and professional development training to women and youth in East Africa. She is a trained leadership coach, and a human centered design consultant specializing in organizational design, strategy, and business operations.
Previously, Ayla worked as a change management consultant, and as a community organizer. Ayla holds a Master of Science in Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she was awarded the Miller Social Change Leadership Award and the 2020 Stanford Impact Leadership Fellowship. She was a Mary Maples Dunn scholar at Smith College, where she graduated with honors with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Spanish Language. Ayla was awarded the 2014 Brimstone Award for Applied Storytelling for her work with Resonate and was named one of Conscious Company Magazine’s 17 Rising Social Entrepreneurs. She is a 2015 Unreasonable Institute Global Fellow, a 2016 recipient of the Cordes Fellowship, and represented Resonate as part of the 2017 GSBI Accelerator Program and the 2017 cohort of the SPRING Accelerator. She has written articles for Next Billion and Huffington Post, and was a speaker at TEDx Oakland in 2018. Ayla serves on the Board of Directors for Resonate, as an International Grant Advisor for The Pollination Project, and as a member of the Global Advisory Board for the Women’s Global Leadership Initiative.
