Bar Pereg is an experienced leader with robust experience in entrepreneurship, management and social impact innovation.
Bar currently works as a Senior Strategy Manager in Monitor Deloitte, where she advises fortune 500 companies. Her two focus areas are (1) purpose-driven strategy to help major companies to create financial and social value, and (2) business model innovation to reach underserved markets in the “Base of the Pyramid”
Prior to Deloitte, Bar was an Accelerator Director at PresenTense, where she managed and trained Israel's first venture accelerator for Arab tech entrepreneurs and led the first ultra-orthodox female entrepreneurship program. In this capacity, she trained over 100 entrepreneurs, delivered numerous workshops and lectures to diverse groups such as business executives and diplomatic visitors. Bar also advised public entities such as the Israeli Prime Minister office and the Ugandan president office with regard to developing entrepreneurial ecosystems.
In 2012, Bar joined Nielsen, where she worked with some of the world's famous food and personal care brands. She was also a manager at Digital Fuel, Jerusalem based global software company acquired by VMware. During her studies in the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Bar founded "someone to run with", the largest running club in the capital.
Bar served as an outdoor specialist in the IDF; in this capacity, she established the first organized education system for Darfur’s refugee’s children along the Egypt border. She received two awards during her service.
Bar holds an MBA from MIT Sloan, and a BA from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
