Dana Saroken
Dana Saroken (she/her) is the Founder and Spiritual Director of the Soul Center. The Soul Center was created in 2016 and has since engaged and inspired thousands of people who identify as "spiritual, not religious" to foster their spirituality, acquire Jewish wisdom, and to incorporate Jewish practices, rituals and community into their lives. She is also a rabbi at Beth El Congregation in Baltimore. Dana was ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary in Manhattan where she served as a CLAL Fellow and interned at the Wexner Heritage Foundation. Prior to rabbinical school, she was the Director or the Jewish Student Association at Georgetown University and the Education Director for the international group Up With People. Nowadays, she spends her time participating in Soul Center's mixology, yoga-hikes and zentangling programs, loves musical theater, arts, late night HGTV, traveling with her husband Rafi and their teenagers, and hosting spirited shabbat dinners.
