Denise was born in Uruguay and is a communications professional, specializing in nonprofit organizations. She has worked in national and international organizations within and outside of the Jewish community in Uruguay and Israel. During her early professional years, Denise discovered that her passion lay in working for cause-related organizations. Thanks to her ability to build networks, make new friends, and motivate others, Denise earned a place of leadership in the Uruguayan Jewish community. She was an active member of Hillel, the Shoa Project, the folk dance movement, and Kehilat Yavne in Montevideo. In 2008, she created Mifgash, a unique framework for Jewish singles in their 30s. This project successfully introduced many couples who are now married. In 2011, Denise married Daniel and a year later they made aliyah. On 2013 Denise started working for the International Women’s Division in Keren Hayesod. On 2018 started working as Project Manager for Gvahim in Jerusalem. Proud of working for an organization that brings light to the Jewish world by helping highlighy skilled olim enter the workforce in Israel. Denise also teaches folk dance to youth at the Center for Jewish Leadership (Jewish Agency) and Young Judeah, and volunteeres for JIC and Shir Chadash nonprofit organizations that help olim in their integration to Israeli society. In 2015 and 2018 Denise gave birth to her beloved daughters. She is proud of her personal and professional achievements as an olah and wishes to continue contributing with her experience, know how, and motivation to improve Israeli society and the Jewish world in general.
