Ditta, from Bratislava, Slovakia, is a social entrepreneur, working in the fields of youth, education, and social innovation. She also works on issues related to gender, human rights, citizenship, social inclusion, conflict, transformation, environment, sustainability, and social development. Ditta is currently working for GENE: Global Education Network Europe, which brings together ministries and agencies to share experiences and learn from each other. At GENE she coordinates the Global Education Innovation Award and provides support for the program in countries where Global Education is not yet very strong. She is also a concept developer and online course coach at the Network University. In 2018, she became a member of the board of MasterPeace, a nonprofit that seeks to promote peace and community building across the world. She also consults on youth and social innovation issues for the UNDP and the Council of Europe Youth Directorate, among others. She holds an M.A. in international relations from the International School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Amsterdam and a B.A. in international relations and economics from the University of Economics in Prague. Ditta lived in Brazil from 2007-2015, where, among other roles, she served as general coordinator of the University of Youth. After 19 years of living abroad, she is currently based in Bratislava.
