Senior Director of Development Operations, Moishe House
Eden grew up in Orange County, CA, and has lived in Los Angeles since 2010. After several years of dreaming of being a marine biologist, she realized that rather than fighting her inability to work with math she could choose to cultivate her innate skills in leadership and strategy. This revised path led her to earn her B.A. in business and M.B.A. in nonprofit management from American Jewish University, and to work post-graduation at Jewish World Watch and now Moishe House. Eden is thrilled to be a part of the Moishe House professional team after being a community member and resident for several years. Eden oversees operations for the 15-person team of professionals supporting the hundreds of Moishe House residents around the globe. She directly supervises four members of the resident support team and oversees the creation and implementation of the annual North American Residents' Conference, which brings together more than 200 Moishe House residents, alumni, and Moishe House Without Walls hosts. Moishe House staff are at the front lines of innovation and advancement in Jewish life, and Eden takes that responsibility very seriously. Eden has transformed Moishe House's resident support team by improving communication and procedures, drastically changing the hiring process, and creating new levels of accountability and partnership between residents and staff. All of this work is in service of demonstrating to young adults that their voice matters, we take their leadership seriously, and they have the power to create the Jewish communities of their dreams.
