Elad Shoshan
Elad Shoshan is a serial entrepreneur with experience in the private, governmental and nonprofit sectors. He currently serve as the Consul of Israel to the Southwest United States, having graduated with honors from the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs cadet course.
Elad's career began nearly 20 years ago, as a commander in the Special Forces Yahalom Unit. After completing his service, he worked with Taglit Birthright, curating unique cultural and educational experiences in Israel for 120,000 participants. Beginning his studies in Business Administration and Finance at Reichman University, he became immersed in entrepreneurship, cofounding the NOX Group, which remains Israel’s leading entertainment and restaurant company specializing in culture and hospitality. Each month, the company's 450 employees serve over 500,000 clients in nine venues, offering a unique mixture of Israeli food and culture, while hosting leading international artists.
Over the following years, he gained invaluable leadership and social-impact experience, serving as CEO of Momentum, an NGO that helps discharged soldiers acclimate to civilian life, and led innovative initiatives with the Tel-Aviv Municipality, JDC and other organizations. He also served as CEO in Zikaron BaSalon, a global venture that has created a new paradigm for commemorating the Holocaust, with over 2,000 volunteers and millions of participants ensuring the next generation will learn from the past to create a brighter future. For his contributions there, he was proud to receive the Israel Presidential Award for Outstanding Volunteerism.
Alongside work, Elad's passion for social impact has led him to accept several global fellowships (Schusterman, Ruderman, Israel-Asia Leaders, StandWithUs), mentor young social and business entrepreneurs and establish numerous nonprofit associations. He founded Guests of Honor, a global initiative that organizes holiday dinners for Holocaust survivors, receiving the Edmond de Rothschild Outstanding Entrepreneur award. He serve as a board member in Jindas, which is the leading social urban revitalization NPO in Israel and he co-founded Yahalom Foundation, which assisting Special Forces graduates, Wave-Ability, which creates beach activities for the physically challenged, and Safe Place, which provides cultural and artistic activities for neurodiverse children.
