Emily Bernstein made Aliyah to Israel six years ago from Florida. Growing up in Florida's Reform Jewish community, where her inter-faith family was welcomed, she developed a passion for Judaism and religious diversity. After making Aliyah, she pursued a Masters Degree at Hebrew University in Conflict Research.
Emily’s professional career has put her at the center of the movement to foster a culture of pluralism and innovation in Jerusalem. She brings with her years of experience in writing, research, fundraising, and development; skills she has honed through work on the Nir Barkat re-election campaign, Jerusalem Venture Partners, Ruach Hadasha and the Shalom Hartman Institute, among others.
At ROI, she is excited to be a part of a stellar, creative team that empowers young adults to pursue their game changing ideas for the Jewish and global future. Emily enjoys cooking for her friends, running, reading a good book and spending too much time having theological debates.
