Gadi Ezra

Director of the National Public Diplomacy (Hasbarah) Unit

Gadi Ezra is the Director of the National Public Diplomacy (Hasbarah) Unit in the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office. He also pursues his Ph.D. in Law. Previously, he advised different entities on Public law and Policy, as well as the Defense Establishment on international strategic matters.

Before his current role, Gadi was a requested speaker in venues around the world where he discussed Israel’s challenges in the international arena, and unfolded his unique perspective on war, as both a human rights attorney and a Special Forces veteran.

Gadi earned three law degrees from Tel Aviv University and New York University (where he was the first Israeli to deliver the convocation speech) and clerked directly for Israel's State Attorney, where he partook in cardinal decision-making processes. Following graduation, Gadi headed the humanitarian law desk at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he advised diplomats on the laws of war and sanctions regimes.

In 2016, Gadi was named by Forbes Magazine as one of the 30 most influential leaders in Israel under the age of 30.
