Galit joined the ROI team after working at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem as International Projects Manager for nearly four years. Her responsibilities included donor relations, national and international exhibitions, projects and collaborations including logistics, administration and budgeting. Prior to this, she was a parliamentary assistant in Israel’s Knesset.
Galit has a BA in sociology and anthropology from Tel Aviv University and an MA in Gender Studies from University College London. While completing her second degree in London, she interned at the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom in the UK. Upon graduation, Galit decided to return to her home in Israel to build a personal and professional life that reflects her Jewish identity and love of Israel. Galit volunteered with the Israel Women’s Network while studying for a Coaching Certificate at Tel Aviv University after which she volunteered to coach with the organization Mevoi Satum for women who have been withheld a Jewish divorce.
In the Israeli Army, Galit was a commander in the Gadna program – preparing and motivating Israeli youth for their army service. She went on to become a lieutenant in the Education Corps.
