Giora Israel
Born and raised in Jerusalem, Giora (32), is an entrepreneur, producer, and social activist. Following his service as an officer in the IDF Giora founded his first business: a production company and international electronic music label. Giora traveled the world while continuing to produce and DJ. Upon his return, he joined with Rami Levy to found the media company Telescreen, as well as serving as CEO and VP of Marketing for the subsidiary company StudentTV. Concurrently he pursued a B.A. degree in business management. Following the social justice protest, he founded Mitpakdim, which promotes the public involvement in politics. Giora also funded art projects such as DiningRoom, a creative community, and the “De:Frost” Festival. Giora is currently working on “I see U” – a project that aims to break down barriers between the different populations and ethnicities in Jerusalem and bring them closer together. Giora spends a month a year traveling and meditates on a daily basis.
