Ido Levit is a Jerusalem-based artistic and cultural entrepreneur, currently working as the Content Director at Eden,The Jerusalem Municipality Development Company Eden is rapidly transforming the beating heart of Jerusalem into an internationally acclaimed center for commerce, culture, and tourism. Eden's work to revive downtown Jerusalem includes comprehensive plans to upgrade the public space, strengthen cultural institutions, support young communities, and bolster the city's thriving business eco-system. In his work, Ido is designing the city's plan for Placemaking, working with urban planners, academic institutions, community centers, NGOs and many more, in order to create better public spaces that meet the needs of its residents. Ido has considerable experience producing both small and large events which cater to all cultural experiences from poetry readings to gay pride festivals. As the owner of the Hakatze (The Edge) production company he has successfully planned, executed and overseen cultural events which have drawn thousands of participants from all walks of life and seen the transformation of empty streets into vibrant and exciting cultural spaces. In addition Ido is passionate about mind and body relationships and as well as holding a black belt in Ninjutsu is also a qualified yoga and rebirthing therapist.
