Inbar currently lives in Tel Aviv but she is originally from Karmiel, a town in the north of Israel, from a big family made up of a great mix of both Mizrachi and Ashkenazi heritage. Inbar spent many years working with underprivileged youth across the country as an activist and educator. Currently, she is the digital and content manager at Maoz, a training network dedicated to advancing Israel’s socio-economic resilience by enhancing the quality of its leaders. Inbar is also a Ph.D. candidate at Bar Ilan University’s Sociology Department, where she also teaches. Inbar’s research focuses on digital media and youth in Israel. She is a especially interested in the inequality gap that has developed within popular social media such as Instagram and Facebook. She is recipient of the Outstanding Young Researcher’s Award presented by the President of Israel. Inbar is married to Yair and is the mother of Noga and Amit.
