Ivana is from Herceg Novi, Montenegro, formerly Yugoslavia, though she was born in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Her Jewish story started in childhood by reading books of her grandfather, famous writer and Nobel prize nominee Danilo Kis. A proud and active member of a small Jewish community in a tiny country of only 600,000 people, Ivana invests a lot of time attending different Jewish seminars and conferences as she feels sharing her experience of living in the smallest and youngest community in the world can inspire and influence others. With a degree in political scienc, international relations and diplomacy, she is a member of a committee implementing the agreement between government of Montenegro and its Jewish community. She also works at Sociala2z, where she manages content production projects for a variety of clients. In addition, her newest exciting venture is her work with Beit Hatfutsot: The Museum of the Jewish People in Tel Aviv, where she is a media project coordinator. Inspired by the ability to express creative and innovative ideas via effective content, Ivana's goal and real passion is creating something valuable for her community that can engage and connect them to their Judaism by utilizing her digital media and technology skills.
