Jaime Rapaport Barry
Jaime is the Chief of Staff & Brand Strategy at UpStart, which partners with the Jewish community's boldest leaders to expand how Jews find meaning and come together. Jaime oversees all brand and communications initiatives, as well as UpStart's annual convening, The Collaboratory. Jaime also serves as a key support and strategic partner to the CEO, overseeing cross-functional initiatives. Prior to UpStart, Jaime served as a Communications Specialist for SEIU-UHW, a healthcare workers union. For six years, Jaime served on the team that tripled the size of the Progressive Jewish Alliance (now "Bend the Arc"), where she also launched NewGround: A Muslim-Jewish Partnership for Change, a nationally renowned fellowship program featured on American Public Media. In 2012, Jaime earned her Masters degree in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Jaime enjoys spending time with her husband (Tim), daughter (Dahlia), and son (Izzy), cooking, art, and dancing.
