Jed serves as a Program Officer for U.S. Jewish Grantmaking at the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation, where his commitment to diversity, justice and community deeply informs his work.
Prior to joining the Schusterman team, Jed strategically advised foundations and nonprofits seeking to maximize impact in local, national and international communities; directed a Bay Area millennial initiative focused on diverse leadership development and community engagement; and worked with a team of Morrison Foerster attorneys in a nationwide pro bono case on behalf of U.S. Cold War-era disabled veterans.
Jed earned a B.A. in International Relations, Honors in Ethics, and J.D. at Stanford, one of his favorite places on the planet. He has spent considerable time abroad, most notably in Israel and China. Jed is an avid fan of language (especially English, Spanish, Mandarin and Hebrew), music (especially Sam Cooke and Sublime) and comedy (especially Mel Brooks, because it’s in the script).
