Jessica is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has always been passionate about the Jewish community in which she was raised and about the role of education in creating change, lowering barriers, and transforming lives and has been lucky enough to be able to combine the two. After completing her B.A. in education from the University of Buenos Aires, Jessica pursued a career in informal education and served for seven years as director of the youth and education department at the Sociedad Hebraica Argentina. She is currently the first Director of BBYO Latin America, where her main challenge is to install new energy and creativity into Jewish teen leadership in the region. Curious and active, Jessica believes that constant movement is good for learning, creating, and thinking. She can often be found running in the park, which is where she gets her best ideas, clarifies old ideas, and realizes which ones won’t work. Jessica also works as a trainer, consultant, and teacher for Paradigma, a large consulting firm. Her passion for connecting ideas and education has led her to be part of the team of TEDxRiodelaplata and TED ED Clubs. Her latest interest is specialty coffee – the flat white is her favorite!
