Joelle Asaro Berman works with nonprofits on a diverse portfolio of projects that foster civic engagement, promote democracy, and increase philanthropy. She formerly served as the Executive Director for Amplifier, an initiative that helps people build and sustain giving circles inspired by Jewish values. Joelle has worked in the nonprofit space for 14 years, and has led communications and strategy-building initiatives for the Foundation for Jewish Camp and Taglit-Birthright Israel. She's a Schusterman Fellow, part of the ROI Community, serves on the Repair the World NYC Advisory Board, and helps run the Brooklyn Bridge Community-Supported Agriculture project in her spare time. She loves cooking and fermenting food, and biking around Brooklyn.
