Joe Goldberg is a Leadership Initiatives Fellow in the Washington, DC office, where he works to supports leaders who are implementing positive change in both the Jewish and secular communities as part of the Foundation's global leadership initiative. He is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan, majoring in political science, and minoring in history, with a dual focus in International Diplomacy in the Middle East and West Asia and the American Political Power Structure. As an undergraduate, Joe served on Hillel's Governing Board, held various roles in Central Student Government, and participated on the Michigan Mock Trial team. Prior to attending Michigan, Joe lived in Jerusalem, as part of the Kivunim gap year experience. Joe is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and Ted Drewes' Frozen Custard enthusiast; yes, he's from St. Louis. In his spare time, Joe can be found cooking, doing hot yoga, trying new craft beers, or avidly designing his dream tree house. Joe is ecstatic to engage in the local DC food scene and try salsa dancing!
