Julia is a Communications Officer for The Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation. Based in the Atlanta office, she manages storytelling initiatives for the REALITY team. She is also responsible for special communications projects for the foundation.
Prior to joining Schusterman, Julia worked at New York Public Radio. She is the founder of Why We Give, which features stories of ordinary philanthropists. Julia has built community and raised funds at UJA Federation of New York and Cornell Hillel. Her career began as a speechwriter and researcher for Jewish communal leader Harold Tanner.
Julia holds a Certificate in Fundraising from NYU’s Heyman Center for Philanthropy and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University. A native of Atlanta, she is rediscovering her hometown after many years living in New York.
