Karin is leading Google's AR/VR global marketing for developers and creators, she manages the marketing strategy for products like ARCore, Poly, Daydream, etc. and is based in NYC. Before that role, she led the marketing for Firebase- Google's mobile development platform for two years, and before that, she led Google?s brand in Israel. In that capacity, she has founded projects with high social impact such as Project Grandma Goes Online, in which over 25% of all Israeli kids taught senior citizens how to use the Internet; and Project Go Ahead, a technology that enables people with disabilities to use their smartphones without touch. Karin has also been a lecturer at IDC for four years, teaching a year long course at the Zell Entrepreneurship Program together about new media entrepreneurship. Prior to Google, Karin was the founder of two startups. The first was an online marketing agency that promoted businesses, which she founded while studying for her B.A. at IDC. The second startup was founded after Karin graduated from the Zell Entrepreneurship Program. Karin spent two years working on Weesh, an app for enhancing romantic relationships between couples.
