Born in Los Angeles, Lauren is a licensed clinical psychotherapist, yoga teacher, and international retreat leader with decades of experience and a specialty in trauma treatment. She has personally helped thousands of people develop new thought and behavior patterns that unlock freedom, empowerment, and joy in everyday living. Her client list includes leading innovators across a variety of sectors including successful startups in the wellness industry, hedge fund portfolio managers, and celebrity clients. Lauren also engages in service work in juvenile detention centers, drug and alcohol treatment centers, prison communities, and domestic violence shelters. Yoga Journal regularly references Lauren as one of the leading teachers in the United States, and she’s been featured in publications such as USA Today, Shape, Men’s Journal and more. Lauren teaches major events for the Times Square Alliance and Samsung + Wanderlust. She believes that the body is an integral part of any healing process, and she brings embodiment practices into all of her work. Currently, Lauren is working on her first book while creating a podcast in the Holy Land. She is interviewing influential, interesting people in both Israel and Palestine to reflect the rich tapestry of life here and the wide space for peace that exists. Through her writing and conversations, Lauren hopes to bring her audience into more intimate contact with the nuance and complexities of life in this region with the hope to broaden perspectives and build bridges.
