Liron Atia

CEO, Look and Listen
Liron is from Ashkelon, Israel, where  he was born and raised. A snowboarding accident at the age of 18 broke his spinal cord, and left him paralyzed from the waist down.  In one instant Liron lost every ability that he had before and was forced to re-invent himself and find new creative ways to do what he wanted to do. Today, Liron runs his own business, making commercials for some of the biggest companies in the Israeli market. He is also one of three founders of a nonprofit called Tachles. Tachles makes viral videos with social agendas that seek to create change. Liron is the editor of the videos and one of the writers. He considers their work to be innovative because they have found an amazing way to connect people to issues that requires awareness, using the power of sarcasm and social media. The most recent video produced by Tachles, showing Super Mario struggling to pass the first stage of the game because he is now on a wheelchair, highlighted the issue of accessiblity and had over 35 million views in a single week. A previous video about parents who forget their babies in a hot car had over 20 million views.
