Liz is a leader in the Jewish Food world. Through her company, The Gefilteria, she has immersed herself in Old World Ashkenazi cuisine and culture and shares her knowledge and passion with communities far and wide. She curates and cooks for pop-up events and boutique shops, and in 2016 she’ll publish a cookbook, The Gefilte Manifesto: New Recipes for Old World Jewish Foods. Liz also means business. She is currently finishing up her M.B.A. at CUNY Baruch College in NYC. She loves to help small businesses grow and she regularly consults with aspiring entrepreneurs, both formally and informally. In 2014, Liz was even selected for the Forbes Magazine 30 Under 30 List. On a personal note, Liz is a New Yorker. She has boundless energy and thrives in the fast pace of her Brooklyn life. She does, however, appreciate slowing down for friends, family, and community.
