Maggie is from a small town south of Mendoza, Argentina. Growing up her life was not easy, which taught her to always look for ways to improve the situation you are given and turn it into an opportunity to grow. Blessed with a profound curiousity about people and situations, which helps, it is concepts like tikkun olam and Jewish resilience that fill her with strength and the realization that working together as a team can make anything possible. She believes in giving back and volunteering and has done so even while at school and in every community where she has lived. Maggie also has a talent for collecting good friends around her, from a wide range of spheres and very different personalities, whom she considers her family. Having lived in different cities across Argentina, she is currently in Santiago, Chile, where she works in the political department of the Israeli embassy. She also volunteers with the Santiago Jewish Community and has been a Usina team member of Lazos Latam since 2018. How does Maggie summarize why she wakes up every morning loving her job? It’s because of the over 14 million Jews worldwide, everyone of whom she considers part of her community.
