Mary Ann Weiss
Mary Ann Weiss is a Program Associate in the Washington, D.C. office. She provides strategic and tactical support to the national grants team, and works closely with organizations that advance the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation’s mission to empower and engage young Jewish adults in meaningful ways both in the Jewish community and in the broader world.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Mary Ann worked as a consultant for a firm based in Denver, CO. She worked with dozens of non-profit organizations, assisting them in areas of strategic planning, community engagement campaigns and setting and meeting fundraising goals. Mary Ann was also a resident of the Denver Moishe House, where she helped cultivate a robust and vibrant young Jewish community through diverse and innovative programming.
Originally from New York City, Mary Ann earned a B.A. in American Studies with a minor in Management and Business from Skidmore College, and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at George Washington University's Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration. Mary Ann also serves as a steering committee member of the Washington, D.C. Chapter of Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy. When Mary Ann is not working or doing homework, she can be found bicycling around the city, rock climbing or listening to podcasts.
