Mary Ann Weiss
Mary Ann Weiss is a Program Officer at the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation. Based in the Washington, D.C. office, she provides guidance and technical assistance to a portfolio of grants advancing vibrant and inclusive Jewish life. Her work primarily focuses on young adult engagement, innovative Israel education and organizational capacity building.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Mary Ann worked as a consultant for a firm based in Denver, CO. She worked with dozens of non-profit organizations, assisting them in areas of strategic planning, community engagement campaigns and setting and meeting fundraising goals. Mary Ann was also a resident of the Denver Moishe House, where she helped cultivate a robust and vibrant young Jewish community through diverse and innovative programming.
Mary Ann received her B.A. in American Studies with a minor in Management and Business from Skidmore College, and will complete a Master of Public Administration at the George Washington University's Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration in May of 2019. Mary Ann also serves as a steering committee member of the Washington, D.C. Chapter of Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy. When Mary Ann is not working or in class, she can be found bicycling around the city, rock climbing or listening to podcasts.
