Meggan Levene
As an elected official, nonprofit executive and small business owner, Meggan works at the intersection of the public, private and nonprofit sectors. Directed by the belief that change starts locally and inspired by her experience as ministerial aide to the Hon. Chris Carter, New Zealand Parliament, Meggan is committed to building bridges between people and sectors in her adopted hometown of Brookline, MA.
Most recently, Meggan worked for a medtech company, a U.S. presidential campaign and served as Chief Marketing and Development Officer for a national advocacy organization. Previously, she was the Founder and Executive Director of a nonprofit sparking next-generation philanthropy and led corporate social responsibility initiatives for the largest health insurer in Massachusetts. Meggan is a long-time volunteer and organizer in the Boston Jewish community. She served on CJP’s Commission for Caring and Social Justice. In 2014, Meggan was named as one of the 18 most influential Jewish young professionals in Boston
Meggan is a graduate of Emerge Massachusetts, the premier political training program for women and PresenTense social innovation startup accelerator.
