Michael was born 26 years ago in the FSU. When he was about a year old, his parents took the whole family and moved to Israel where they found an apartment in a beautiful place called Herzliya. Michael is still living in Herzliya and from this small city he's trying to shape the future of Israel and the future of education around the globe. He fell in love with education while founding a project called Making History. The project was basically a group of Facebook pages in Hebrew that used the timeline layout of Facebook to create online study guides on history. The project became popular and thousands of students in the country learned history in a creative and interesting way. Michael later co-founded a project called Razim Labagrut that helped Israeli students prepare for matriculation exams via virtual classrooms. Thousands of students used these virtual classes. Michael was also co-founder of EduNow, the largest educational community and magazine in Israel. In 2015, he co-founded a project called MOOC HUBS, to give free access and tools for people who wanted to learn from the best universities for free. The project was featured in WIRED magazine, in an issue dedicated to trends in 2015. In addition he is currently Director of New Media at Kinneret, the largest publishing house in Israel, and, among other things, tries to find new and creative ways to encourage children to read more books.
