Michal Sherez Shilor
Michal Sherez Shilor is the founder of “0202 – Points of View from Jerusalem” and the Director of Organization-Wide Planning at “aChord: Social Psychology for Social Change”.
In 2015, Michal founded the organization and Facebook platform “0202 – Points of View from Jerusalem,” which provides the unedited, unfiltered narratives of East, West, and Haredi Jerusalem in Hebrew, Arabic, and English. Through 0202, we can experience Jerusalem through the lens of other Jerusalem populations that one might never encounter – online and through offline educational and cultural activities.
Michal has directed programs to promote tolerance and diversity, and has advised hundreds of independent grassroots initiatives from across Jerusalem. In addition, she has consulted for government institutions and social organizations on cultural competence. She is an advisory board member of Leichtag Foundation’s Jerusalem Model.
Michal lives with her family in a suburb of Jerusalem, is a Kehilat Zion member, a drummer, a poetess, and a yogini. She holds a B.A in Community Social Work from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and is a trained Arab-Israeli dialogue group facilitator.
