Nadia was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, into a traditional Jewish family. She loves to build businesses from scratch and use business as a way to generate social value. Nadia is the founder of The Food Market, a marketplace for small local food producers. The first of its kind in LATAM, the aim of the company is to support regional economies, grow local markets, generate employment, and encourage a more healthy approach to food. In the four years since she started her company, it has revolutionized the food industry. Nadia has received several awards for her work and is considered a go-to resource for women in business, and women in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. She was a founder of Hilabs, an incubator and club that facilitates entrepreneurship at Hillel Argentina, where she is also a mentor. Nadia was a counselor on three separate Taglit trips, and currently also works with Innovation Experience, an organization that bring groups of Jews and non-Jews to Israel to learn about the Israeli entrepreneurial ecosystem. She discovered that spending a week highlighting the strengths of the country is the best type of hasbara and has seen just how impact an experience it is, often serving to undo many prejudices. Nadia holds a B.A. in industrial engineering.
